LaserNet is a complete Output Management System, created to control information, layout, content and document distribution in an automatic and transparent process.
The software runs as a service on Windows NT, 2000 or 2003 and it allows an organization to process spool files and create electronic forms. The demand for customer focused reports is continuously increasing and reports need to be continuously adapted and enhanced to meet the requirements of global markets. LaserNet provides users with a whole range of functionality and possibilities in order to meet the new challenges without delay. LaserNet brings enormous functionality and control to existing ERP-systems, and allows users to distribute documents to any network-attached printer.
Data capture on the fly
The software captures the output from the ERP-system, and transforms it into professional electronic documents. The documents can be converted to a variety of formats - PCL, PDF, TIFF, XML, ebXML etc. dependent on the individual needs of the business and its customers.
Recoqnition allows advanced business logic
LaserNet works by means of a sophisticated data and queue recognition process. This process is defined in LaserNet Design. The recognition determines how the document is processed, transformed and delivered. Once the recognition is defined LaserNet automatically processes the document. This can produce a single form, an e-mail, XML file or fax or it can trigger a wide range of events associated with the original print file generation.
LaserNet is therefore a fast way to create formatted output from the ERP-system. Documents can easily be customized to include any typeface, logo graphics, barcode, watermark etc. desired. Special text, messages or logos can appear for different customers, and no programming expertise is required in order to achieve a quality document or report
With LaserNet your customers will receive individual personalized messages and documents.
