Blue Server communicates with the IBM system over TCP/IP, SNA and Channel 370. Connection to the IBM system can be either TCP/IP, TN3270e/5250e, SNA (LU1/LUA, LU6.2) or Channel 370 to provide easy integration with your existing IBM environment. The Blue Server converts incoming data (SCS/DCA and AFPDS, IPDS) to either PCL, Postscript, TIFF, BMP, PPML or PDF.

The output data from Blue Server can be configured to the requirements of your printers and your users: IBM Proprinter or Epson compatible for Line and Matrix printers, PCL5 or PostScript 2 & 3 (Hi-Lite and Full Color) PPML for LAN and Channel Page printers. Thanks to a powerful GUI, The Blue Server provides an easy setup to take advantage of the extensive input and output facilities of MFP's and Digital copiers (tray selection, duplex, stapling, punching…) and even PDF documents for archiving or document distribution over the internet.

Blue Server supports outline and DBCS fonts, 240/300/600 dpi and automatic resolution, object containers (JPEG and TIFF), 2D Barcode, color printing as gray scale on black and white printers, enhanced security options for PDF output.
