It automatically converts Xerox resources into PCL resources, thus optimizing and simplifying the implementation process. Xerox fonts can either be automatically converted to PCL bitmap fonts or mapped to printer-resident PCL fonts. Xerox forms are automatically converted to PCL macros and IMG images are converted to PCL compressed images, which are embedded in the output PCL file. Converted fonts, logos and images can be kept and reused, thus speeding up the transform process.

The framework is optimized for production-speed and performance with low resource usage and fast execution time. It also supports an unlimited number of printers in any network configuration. Support is provided for edge-to-edge printing, multiple copy printing and Xerox B&W functionality.
