Document Dematerialization

In common terms, dematerialization signifies doing more with less. Furthermore recognized as "demat", dematerialization is a procedure that moves away from the use of physical records.

 

In replacement, dematerialization employs digital archives to manage clients and company's internal documents, offering enterprise wide fast access to business critical information while enhancing the achitecture in place. Typically the dematerialized document formats are PDF (or PDF/A), raster formats and HTML. As examples, functionalities may include: The conversion to PDF may encrypt records and - or add an electronic signature when transforming data to avoid unauthorized use. The converted PDF output can be linearized for quicker display on webpages and portals.
