Crawford Technologies Inc. Announces Major Product Enhancements to the Optional Features of its PRO Suite of Print Stream Transformation Products
TORONTO, Ontario, February 16, 2007 – Crawford Technologies Inc. (CrawfordTech) has announced the availability of major product enhancements to the optional components of its industry leading PRO Transform family with the release of Version 3.0. The optional transform features include complex indexing and splitting of output files and the concatenation of like input files. These enhanced features can be applied to the widest range of inputs in the industry, including LCDS/Metacode, PostScript, PDF, AFP, PCL, HTML, flat files, line data, ASCII, EBCDIC, SCS and TIFF. The components are available on Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, z/OS and Windows platforms.
CrawfordTech's optional PRO Splitter V3.0 component supports very fast and precise splitting (bursting) of output files during the transform, based on the required file size, the number of pages/sheets or individual statements, or on the intended users. PRO Splitter V3.0 also allows users to group multiple files for DVD/CD-ROM creation and use with ECM import utilities such as Filenet's MRII and HPII. CrawfordTech's optional PRO Concatenator V3.0, a new component, supports the concatenation of multiple like type files (e.g. PDFs) from various sources into a single job file. CrawfordTech's optional PRO Indexer V3.0 component supports the creation of highly complex index files in any format including XML, thanks to its powerful, new scripting language. With the PRO Indexer V3.0, users are able to script what/if/else statements that, for any particular page, can apply specific text extraction rules and required business logic routines.
