Crawford Technologies Introduces PCL Conversion Extensions
Toronto, Ontario, October 20, 2004 - Crawford Technologies Inc. today introduced their newest print stream transform suite's products, PRO PCL Normalization, PRO PCL to PDF, PRO PCL to PS and PRO PCL to Metacode. These latest members of the PRO PCL family add significant options for organizations who want to re-purpose their PCL print files
PRO PCL Normalization allows users to use print file extraction and enhancement software like PRO Indexer and PRO Document Enhancer with PCL print files to automatically post-process their print files extracting information, adding elements such as OMR marks, barcodes, control numbers, and other objects before printing them.
PRO PCL to PDF allows users to convert PCL print files to PDF files for archival and viewing. The PDF files can be simultaneously split into individual PDF files for customers, branches and brokers.
Based on the JAWS PostScript interpreter from Global Graphics Software Inc., PRO PS to Metacode Version 2 offers unsurpassed levels of performance, document fidelity and compatibility with PostScript and PDF objects.
PRO PCL to Metacode, allows users to convert PCL files to Xerox metacode for printing on Xerox LPS laser printers. This lets user extend the life of legacy laser printers. PRO PCL to PS converts from PCL to PostScript for users who need PostScript for printing purposes.
