PRO
Dynamic Document API |
|
| |
|
|
| |
In today's competitive business
document solutions market, it is necessary both to deliver robust
and flexible capabilities and to bring down the cost and time
to market of new output delivery solutions, whether they are web
and/or paper based. The most effective way of achieving those
objectives is to reduce the complexity involved in developing
the output delivery solutions. That's where
CRTeurope's PRO Dynamic Document API
comes in. The PRO Dynamic Document API
reduces the overall costs by shortening the design, development
and implementation time of solutions. The PRO
Dynamic Document API also delivers the capability for
dynamic, interactive, personalized processing of very high volume
business data.
The PRO Dynamic Document API is a cross-platform,
easy-to-use interface that allows programmers to create single
and multithreaded applications to extract data from print files,
transform print files from one format to another or create electronic
display formats such as PDF and HTML from documents in print
files.
Now, developers can easily and quickly integrate
their print files with computer applications by using the PRO
Dynamic Document API. Developers no longer have to become
the experts on all of the different print format types such
as Xerox Metacode, AFP, PCL, HTML, TIFF and PDF, in order to
to harness the power of the information and formatting locked
up inside print files. There are both Java and C/C++ versions
of the PRO Dynamic Document API available, so whatever your
applications are built in, there is a fit.
The PRO Dynamic Document API is easy
to integrate - all the customer needs to do is create one generic
interface containing high level conversion/selection functions,
compile it and link it to the PRO Dynamic Document
API library or DLL. This new integrated application can
then interact with CRTeurope's PRO
Suite functionalities to transform documents into different
formats, create indexes, merge pages, retrieve documents from
Enterprise Content Management systems, manipulate pages and
perform a host of other needed functions.
The PRO Dynamic Document API
achieves the highest performance available by using our high
performance best of breed print stream processing technology,
which has been optimized to run at high speed on virtually all
computer platforms. The thread-safe design of the PRO
Dynamic Document API allows the customer's application
to support multiple function instances simultaneously for use
in large multi-user applications. Using an extensive set of
parameters, the PRO Dynamic Document API delivers
easy integration and customization of the system environment.
