CRTeurope provides a powerful tool for those
Xerox printer customers who want to display their legacy Xerox
applications on the Web for their customers and staff, without
making costly architecture changes. This Metacode to HTML transform
dynamically converts Xerox Metacode, Xerox LCDS (Line Conditioned
Data Stream) and Line Data documents into HTML. The new PRO
Meta to HTML software is available on
Solaris, Linux, AIX, Windows and z/OS platforms.
PRO Meta to HTML
allows organizations to use Xerox legacy application print files
in Web applications. Documents such as customer statements, bills,
invoices, policies and confirmations can be displayed in standard
browsers giving customer service agents and customers instant
online access to the relevant company data. The displayed documents
can also be printed by or emailed to any of those users.
Making documents available quickly and in the same format to customer
service staff and to the customers improves productivity and customer
satisfaction and allows organizations to provide excellence in
Customer Service.
The high-speed performance of PRO Meta
to HTML permits dynamic conversion of
Xerox legacy documents at display or retrieval time. This can
save significant data storage costs and eliminate expensive batch
transformation processing.

Indexer can create index files or database commands, mark
document breakpoints and generate image names using the contents
of the documents, such as account number, customer number, customer
name and statement date.

Document Enhancer is a powerful document re-engineering tool,
which can add, modify or suppress text, barcodes and images or
rearrange the document pages during the conversion.

Splitter plug-in, large input files can be split during conversion
into smaller multi page files, e.g. containing complete individual
customer statements. This opens the door to EBP and EBPP. It also
eliminates the need to modify the application that creates the
print file.
