Flexible Resource Management
The key to the power and flexibility of PRO META
to PS is the way it manages print resources. PRO
META to PS handles all LPS DJDE/JSL functions and dynamically
converts print resources, as needed into PostScript resources,
thus optimizing and simplifying the implementation process. Xerox
fonts can either be automatically converted to PostScript bitmap
fonts or mapped to PostScript Type 1 fonts. Xerox forms are transformed
to PostScript forms, downloaded to a printer and accessed as needed.
IMG images are converted to PostScript images, which are embedded
in the output PostScript file.
