Clients that regularly need to manage the extraction, conversion, indexing, and routing of print-stream data and documents are saving time and reducing operating costs by utilizing many of the CRTeurope software products.

These specialized products, when combined with the PRO Suite of transformation products, turn time-consuming production processes into efficient and smooth flowing operations.

Clients no longer have to re-engineer their data streams, re-format their documents, execute multiple processing steps, or re-architect their applications. Instead, they integrate one, or a combination of, the following modules into their overall solution.

PRO Normalization

Interprets and converts Xerox and AFP print-streams and resources into standard normalized Xerox Metacode and IBM AFP files. This product interfaces with the PRO File Splitting, Document Enhancer, and Indexing modules. Once normalized, these files can then be printed, routed to an archive, or converted into other formats. This product permits the moving of offline to online formats without making costly application changes.

PRO Transform Manager

Provides an automated Watch Directory capability that controls the transformation execution while concurrently routing the print-stream data to the specified printer. Support is provided for multiple printer types, environments, and architectures. This product, in addition to sending converted files to a printer, can also load the converted files to an FTP site or pass them unto a print server.

PRO JES Spool Extraction

Automatically allows output to be selected from JES queues and converted to other formats, such as AFP using PRO Meta to AFP. The converted output files can then be automatically sent back to the JES Spool for routing to the appropriate printer or other servers. Clients can also poll output datasets from JES2 and FTP them to other applications or systems for transformation on PC or Unix systems.

PRO PS Extraction

Reads PostScript input print-streams and provides facilities to extract text information from the input PostScript and split PostScript files into multiple sub-documents or output files.

PRO Document Enhancer

manipulates fields on documents. This module can add fields to pages including OMR marks with integrity counts, barcodes and control numbers as well as slip-sheets. It can also suppress fields, bar codes and text.
