Enterprise Output Solution.
To provide the highest level of service and business performance, today’s enterprise organizations face the multi-faceted challenge of capturing, synthesizing, and concisely delivering actionable information to the right people, at the right time, in the required format. Furthermore, increasingly demanding compliance, regulatory and governance requirements are constantly raising the bar for how information assets are accessed and managed.
RSD EOS (Enterprise Output Solution) addresses this growing problem for enterprise IT. A highly-scalable, flexible and proven solution, EOS enables organizations to achieve concise and compliant information delivery in a heterogeneous and demanding IT environment.
As an enterprise-grade distributed output and report management solution, EOS is well suited for high volume datacenters and other content-intensive businesses including insurance, banking and financial services, education, government, manufacturing, and healthcare services. EOS increases productivity and reduces costs by automatically capturing information generated throughout the organization, creating customized report packets and delivering them anywhere, online, in print or via e-mail. With EOS, organizations securely control content access by delivering only appropriate reports or report sections, based on a user’s job function, information access restrictions, disclosure requirements or confidentiality policies.
Serving as one element of RSD’s trusted information governance platform, and providing more than 1200 of the most demanding global enterprise customers with mission-critical applications, EOS:
Facilitates the identification and management of virtually any output datastream as it is created, regardless of the application or platform on which it is generated.
Efficiently utilizes storage resources by delivering customized logical reports based on recipients’ needs, while only maintaining a single copy of the initial content.
Fully automates report and content archiving, retrieval and destruction according to easily-configured business rules.
Ensures rapid access to all current and historical information related to critical business functions, including customer or partner service and support, production management, and business performance analysis.
Provides complete print management services through Doc2Print, email delivery and notification via Doc2Mail, and SAP content integration with SAP OMS, all optional components that expand the capabilities of EOS.
Helps organizations address key requirements for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) by encrypting customer account data on any storage media which can only be accessed unencrypted through EOS services for secure viewing and printing.
Having evolved over more than three decades, EOS supports mixed IT environments common in large enterprises, whether centralized or geographically distributed. From legacy high-volume mainframe environments to today’s Linux, UNIX, or Windows-based infrastructures, the extremely reliable, scalable architecture consistently delivers high-performance solutions to organizations that generate, store and manage gigabytes or even terabytes of information on a daily basis.
