How it works |
| |
It’s This Easy!
| |
Design the FasTest Print Stream Compare process to highlight document changes as you want them to appear – maybe a red circle to outline text changes or a blue rectangle to show changes in images.
| |
| |
Run your control file – your documents as they existed before being changed. |
| |
| |
Run your test file – your documents as they exist after being changed. |
| |
| |
Use FasTest Print Stream Compare to review the control and test files in a side-by-side mode, with each difference highlighted as you defined. Print Stream Compare also contains an explanation of the difference, so even changes hard to detect with the naked eye are easy to spot and understand. |
| |
| |
Determine whether changes are acceptable. If they are, use FasTest Print Stream Compare to accept them and continue. If not, do not mark them as acceptable and finish your review. Then use your document composition tool to make the appropriate document layout changes. Once these document modifications have been saved, rerun the control and test files, and use Print Stream Compare to compare them again. |
| |
| |
FasTest Print Stream Compare is self-documenting. As you review the differences between your control and test files, Print Stream Compare shows the status of each, creating a visual depiction of all changes and whether they have been accepted. |
| |
| |
In addition, FasTest Print Stream Compare creates an audit file of all document changes that have been accepted, including who accepted them and when acceptance occurred. |
